Issue 3: Haus Riehl, Potsdam Babelsberg - 07/08.2009

While working for the architect Bruno Paul in Berlin from 1905, Ludwig Mies van der Rohe was introduced to the Riehl family, who wanted to build a new house. As Mr. and Mrs. Riehl were interested in giving a young talented architect the chance to plan and design theri new home, they chose Ludwig Mies van der Rohe. Bruno Paul supported Mies to develop the design of his first building: Haus Riehl in Potsdam-Babelsberg.
